Before installing the pipe, check that both fittings have been locked correctly.
It is necessary to maintain a straight section under the fittings, equal to 1.5 times the outer diameter of the pipe.
Do not bend the flexible part with a bending radius smaller than that indicated on the product technical data sheet.
Do not install the pipe with the flexible part under tension.
Do not install the pipe with the flexible part under tension.
The connection of the cooking appliance must be provided with an efficient earth grounding.
Mount the MDB-MDG fittings on copper pipes with a wall thickness of not less than 0.75 mm. Tighten the MDG-MDB fittings with a force between 25 and 35 N·m.
After each wash cycle, the tap must be turned off so as not to leave the supply hose under pressure.
Damage Protection
Protect the hose from any damage:
-Avoid contact with extreme heat (above 150°F / 65.6°C)
-Avoid contact with household chemicals, such as bleach
-Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners
-Clean only with a damp cloth
Check that no signs of burning/overheating appear on the surface of the hose; that the hose material does not appear deteriorated, aged, or excessively hardened.
For the installation of the fittings, it is recommended to use fixed wrenches of a size appropriate to the fitting dimensions.
Avoid striking the hose with sharp or pointed objects.
Never connect two or more flexible hoses to each other.
Flexible hoses must be installed in such a way as to allow inspection and possible replacement at any time. In all installations that are not "visible" (e.g., WC cisterns, whirlpool bathtubs), an inspection opening must be provided to allow possible removal of the flexible hose.
Check periodically. Replace the flexible hose if:
-It leaks
-There is rust, signs of corrosion, or signs of damage
-The appliance has been replaced
Turn on the water and check for any leaks. If there is a leak: tighten an additional 1/8 of a turn after ensuring that the gasket is properly compressed.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Further tightening will not help and may cause damage.
If the leak continues, turn off the water and check the hose gasket and whether the thread is damaged or dirty. If the connection still leaks, replace the flexible hose and verify that the system is working correctly.
